A Few Changes Happening on the Business Operations and Finance Front

In an effort to better serve the College, Business Operations and Finance has made a few changes, which were effective Thursday, June 1, 2017:
Auxiliary Operations
Directors of Auxiliary Services Yaremis Fullana and Jeffrey Filko, who have been reporting directly to me, will now report to Assistant Vice President of Operations Paul Rooney.
Yaremis and Jeffrey have made strong contributions in significantly improving our auxiliary services; however, we think that we can better support future growth by connecting them to the operations group. Paul will also be able to provide assistance in developing a strong vision for the future as we add locations and complexity to this area. In addition, Paul will continue to lead our Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Courier and Grounds departments.
Trades, Maintenance and Custodial
The trades, maintenance and custodial areas, which are are directly led by Shaun Andrews, managing director, plant operations, will now report to our Assistant Vice President of Facility Planning and Real Estate Development Jose Fernandez.
Bringing Shaun into Jose’s group will ensure that maintenance, sustainability and facilities groups are more closely aligned. Shaun will join Mark Hose, planner, facility, and Bareaa Darkhabani, director, facilities, as direct reports to Jose.
We are in the process of filling the role of director of sustainability, energy management, who will also report to Jose.
