A New Team Member Brings Expanded Center Hours to Osceola Campus

A Message from Kathleen Plinske, President, Osceola, Lake Nona and Poinciana Campuses

Please join me in welcoming Kevin Colwell as our new faculty developer/instructional designer in our Center for Teaching/Learning Innovation on Osceola Campus.

Kevin has taught English for Academic Purposes (EAP) for eight years at the West Campus, and he also has a background in teaching internationally. He brings significant experience with curriculum alignment, action research and Valencia’s Essential Competencies.

Kevin’s addition to the team also brings expanded Center hours of 8 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Fridays.

Please stop by the Center in Building 4, Room 124 to visit Kevin and the rest of the Faculty and Instructional Development team for professional development, course/certification planning, curriculum design and delivery, educational technology strategies for increasing student engagement or just to have a friendly home base from which to work.
