Accessing Your Telephone When Working from Home

A Message from Patti Smith, Chief Information Officer

Now that the majority of Valencia College employees are working remotely, you may have questions about telephone access and if you must use your cell phone for calls. Fortunately, you can still access your work telephone through Skype for Business.

Please note that Skype for Business calls and meetings work best when not logged in to VPN. If you must be logged in to VPN as you’re making your call, at this time, we recommend downloading the Skype for Business app to your mobile device before making a call.

If you have questions, contact the Office of Information Technology at ValenciaCollege.edu/ITHelp,  OITServiceDesk@valenciacollege.edu or 407-299-5000, extension 5555. Support is available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
