Aligning Social Media Avatars With the College’s Brand

A Message from Traci Bjella, Assistant Vice President, Marketing

On social media, the term “avatar” is that tiny image that represents you or a business, department or program on a social media channel. Despite its small size, the avatar you select for your department’s social media presence might just be the first impression of our brand. To help ensure the avatar used for your service, department or place aligns with the College’s brand, the Marketing team can help.

If you manage a social platform on behalf of the college, we’re created a few styles to choose from. The design options allow for a department or service to maintain its identity while letting folks know it is part of the Valencia College family. Take a look on the Brand website, find something you like and reach out so we can create your avatar.
