Call for Presentation Proposals – Student Affairs Professional Development Conference

sapdc2014-groveThe Student Affairs Professional Development Conference Planning Committee is seeking presentation proposals for its annual conference held on West Campus, Thursday, March 5, 2015. Valencia’s Student Affairs division designs and implements systems that support students in achieving their career and educational goals.

The conference will focus on meeting the growing needs of a diverse population in an ever-changing educational landscape with a theme of Valencia stories from our students’ perspectives.

Submissions on the following themes/topics are encouraged, in addition to other topics that relate to Student Affairs and serving our diverse population:

  • Diversity/Inclusion
  • Functional Areas of Student Services
  • General Education Requirements
  • International Education
  • Leadership

  • Legislative Updates

  • Research and Evaluation

  • Student Affairs
  • Student Waiver Populations
  • Teaching and Learning
  • Technology
  • Veteran’s Issues

If you are interested in presenting at the conference, please submit a proposal for consideration on or before Friday, October 24, 2014.
