Campus Construction: Get the 411

With the anticipated fall 2018 opening of the The University of Central Florida (UCF)-Valencia Downtown Campus less than two years away, excitement is in the air and plans are well underway to design and construct the innovative, urban campus, which will accommodate 7,700 students.
But there’s more to the project than building state-of-the-art classrooms and other learning environments. UCF and Valencia also have to consider where students (and faculty and staff) will park — which is why the UCF selection committee recently selected the design/build team for the campus’ $10 million 600-space parking garage.
The bid was awarded to PCL Construction Services and Walker Parking Consultants.
