Classroom Technology Updates Happening on East Campus

A Message from Wendy Givoglu, Interim President, East and Winter Park Campuses

In an effort to continue upgrading East Campus classroom technology, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) began updating the technology in some of the East Campus classrooms over the 2019 winter break.

Enhancements will provide a solid foundation to support the learning activities for years to come by delivering a scalable and stable platform for our students and faculty. All current technology capabilities will remain with the addition of digital touch panels, allowing users to access various technology sources in the room. Much like a tablet, this touch interface allows users to customize and expand the capabilities of the room to meet the needs of our students and faculty.

The initial rooms upgraded include:

  • Building 3, Room 111
  • Building 4, Room 148
  • Building 4, Room 206
  • Building 7, Room 113
  • Building 7, Room 117

Additional rooms will continue to be upgraded in the future.

If you would like a personalized orientation or have questions regarding the new equipment, please contact the Computer Technology Services department at 407-582-5000, extension 2419.
