Introducing #VaccinatedValencians Student Incentive Program

Tuesday, September 14, 2021

To encourage Valencia College students to roll up their sleeves to get vaccinated against COVID-19, the College has launched the #VaccinatedValencians Student Incentive Program.

For the fall semester, all Valencia students* will be entered in two drawings (Friday, October 1 and Friday, November 12, 2021). If their name is chosen** and they can provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, they could win one of 100 prizes, including a full year’s tuition, Apple products and Campus Store vouchers.

All students received an Atlas email on Thursday, September 9, 2021, with the program details and the following video from College President Kathleen Plinske.

Students will see reminders and updates through the College’s social media accounts for the program and leading up to the drawings. Please see the website for more prize details and important program guidelines.

*Employees who are taking classes (except those who are federal or institutional work study students) are not eligible for the drawings.
**If a student is drawn as a winner and has a medical or religious reason for not being vaccinated, upon providing documentation of the reason(s), the student can claim their prize.
