Department of Labor Workplace Posters Accessible in Work Spaces and Online

A message from Michelle Sever, Director, Human Resources Policy and Compliance
As a Valencia College employee, you (and applicants) have certain protections under federal and state laws, in addition to College policy. As such, Valencia is required to post certain federal and state labor law notices. Current labor law and workplace posters are located on each campus, generally near our Organizational Development and Human Resources (ODHR) offices or in common spaces, such as break rooms or mail rooms, to allow for open visibility and access.
Workplace posters are also available on the College website and can serve as a guide for understanding your rights and responsibilities as they relate to employment laws, regulations and requirements. Posters have information on subjects, including but not limited to, the Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Employment Opportunity, minimum wage, workers’ compensation and more.
