Deymond Hoyte Leads Study Abroad Program to China

faculty-insight-news-idDeymond Hoyte, professor of computer engineering technology on East Campus, used his 2011/12 Endowed Chair in Learning Leadership to lead a study abroad trip to China.

Through this support, Deymond was able to immerse his business students into the Chinese culture, providing them with the opportunity to witness business activity, economic changes and the impacts of globalization. “My goal as a professor is to create and foster innovative global thinking,” Deymond shared.

Recently, Deymond was among the nearly 30 Valencia educators who fulfilled the requirements of the Study Abroad Program Leaders Certification.
