Fall Open House a Success!

Osceola Campus opened its doors to more than 600 high school students during the day on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
Every student visitor participated in a tour of campus and attended a presentation to learn more about the academic field they plan to study. Students heard from professors from Valencia College, the University of Central Florida, the University of Florida, Rollins College, Florida Institute of Technology among others about opportunities in their intended field as well as career possibilities that they may not have thought of previously.
In the evening, more than 525 future students and community members visited the campus during our Open House to learn more about what Valencia has to offer. Students and their families had the opportunity to participate in a campus tour, attend an information session (in English or Spanish) and learn about the different programs we offer, along with receive assistance completing the FAFSA.
My special thanks to everyone who pitched in to make both events such a tremendous success — thank you for making our future students and our community members feel so welcome at Valencia.
