Supervisor Development Opportunities

Tuesday, April 13, 2021

Implicit bias is inherent in all people, but how does awareness of this topic assist us in battling these biases? Join the Implicit Bias Supervisor Series for a look at implicit bias from the lens of the supervisor and reflect on how this impacts decision-making within your teams.

Course objectives include:

  • Discover the impact of bias on behaviors, decisions and performance.
  • Discuss the role of empathy and curiosity in uncovering bias in personal interactions and in supervision.
  • Explore ways to face bias with courage and create the space on your teams where everyone is respected, included and valued.
  • Explain ways to positively influence processes and decisions in the Talent Life Cycle with your team.

This will be a four-part series. You may attend individual sessions or all four.

If you were unable to attend Session 1 of the Implicit Bias Series, take a look at the Slide Deck and supplemental materials.
