Got College? Has Gone Global!

A Message from Kathleen Plinske, President, Osceola and Lake Nona Campuses

guillette-got-college-shirt-270wEmployees and community members often share with me that they’ve seen someone wearing a Got College? shirt somewhere out in the community. I’ve heard comments like, “I saw a student wearing one of those Got College? shirts at Wawa!” or “The students must really like their Got College? shirts — I saw a student wearing one at the Rodeo Diner.” It was becoming such a phenomenon that the Education Foundation of Osceola County even contemplated starting an Instagram contest where we’d ask students to submit a photo of themselves wearing their shirts at different landmark locations in Osceola County.

While we had many Got College? “sightings” in Osceola County, I hadn’t heard of an international Got College? sighting … until now.  Mark Guillette, professor of sociology at the Osceola Campus, traveled to Vietnam during Spring Break — take a look at the shirt he was wearing!
