Help Valencia Save Money; Shut Down for Labor Day

Valencia College will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2019. Whether you are just taking the holiday off or adding an extra vacation day or two, please help Valencia College continue to save energy by following these shutdown procedures:

  • Completely power down all computers, monitors, printers, copy machines and televisions.
  • Switch off power strips.
  • Turn off office and break-room lights.
  • Close blinds to keep rooms cool.
  • Ensure all classroom equipment is turned off, including overhead projectors.
