How to Properly Wear a Mask

Some people with COVID-19 don’t exhibit symptoms. These seemingly healthy individuals can spread the virus without even knowing they have it.

To protect ourselves and each other, all employees, students and vendors on campus are required to wear face masks that cover the mouth and nose while indoors and outdoors, where physical distancing is not possible.

Knowing how to properly wear a mask helps prevent the virus from spreading through respiratory droplets. For how to properly wear a mask, watch the video below.

Wearing a mask is one of the important things each of us can do to protect each other from COVID-19 and ensure a safe campus environment. Health and safety is a shared responsibility.
