ShareA Message from Dori Haggerty, Campus Director, Faculty and Instructional Development
The Center for Teaching/Learning Innovation (CTLI) on the West Campus is excited to introduce its new faculty developer and instructional designer, Hunter Looney.
Originally from Tennessee, Hunter earned a Master of Science from Full Sail University in education media design and technology. He is currently working toward his Ph.D. in educational technology from Walden University. His Ph.D. research focuses on best practices in educational technology within professional development settings, specifically at community colleges.
Hunter has eight years of teaching experience, including the areas of middle/high school science, video/audio production, business technology, creative presentation and educational technology courses. In addition to teaching, he also designed curriculum for face-to-face, hybrid and online courses. He also held positions as a Blackboard administrator, instructional designer, manager and trainer at other institutions.
Hunter looks forward to supporting faculty in his new position and is eager to build upon the professional relationships that he has already established while working as a faculty and instructional support specialist at Valencia.
Once you meet him, you will quickly see his passion and drive to assist faculty in the design and implementation of their courses.
