Important Reminder: Payment Options for 10-Month Faculty

A message from Amy Bosley, Vice President of Organizational Development and Human Resources

Attention 10-month faculty members: Each year, you have one opportunity to revise your salary payment option for the coming academic year. Once the first payroll for the academic year is processed, this option may not be changed until the next academic year.

There are 26 pay periods in academic year 2015-2016. As a 10-month faculty member, you have the option of having your base salary disbursed in 22 payments over 10 months, based on your academic appointment, or in 26 payments over 12 months.

If you wish to make a change, please complete and submit a Payment Option Form for 10-Month Faculty. The form is available online through Atlas under Valencia Forms, or click here to access a PDF version of the form.

This form must be submitted (with an original signature) to Organizational Development and Human Resources at mail code DO-21 no later than Friday, July 31, 2015, if you would like to change how your payments are disbursed in the coming academic year. Changes are then effective for the first payday in the new academic year and cannot be changed until next academic year.

No action is necessary unless a change is being requested.

If you have any questions, please contact Vicki Nelson, director of employee records/services, at or at extension 8031 or your campus-based human resources specialist:
