Join AFC, Get First Year Free!


Join Valencia’s Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) chapter and when you sign up to pay dues via payroll deduction, you’ll receive your first year of membership free – paid by President Sandy Shugart. To join, please fill out the membership application and send a copy via interoffice mail to Debi Jakubcin at mail code 3-33.

What does Valencia’s AFC chapter do for you? The chapter promotes professional development, awards and recognition as well as advocacy for Valencia’s employees.

In October, the chapter will hold four membership-related drawings for Darden restaurant gift cards. Two new members who join by Tuesday, October 15, are eligible to win a $20 gift card each. Current members may submit an entry form for the drawing for each new member they sign up – two $20 gift card winners will be drawn.
