Join College President Sandy Shugart’s Retirement Celebration

After 21 years of service and leadership, Valencia College President Sandy Shugart will retire on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. You’re invited to join a virtual retirement celebration for Sandy to celebrate his legacy and wish him farewell on Friday, June 25, 2021.

The event will include remarks from Valencia College’s District Board of Trustees Chair Tracey Stockwell, Vice President of Policy and General Counsel Bill Mullowney and Interim President of the Osceola, Lake Nona and Poinciana Campuses Stanton Reed and will feature tribute videos from faculty, staff and students, followed by remarks from Sandy and Vice President of Organizational Development and Human Resources Amy Bosley.

Also, as a gift to Sandy, we invite you to share a video message with him (please note that your video will not be shown during the retirement celebration). All video messages will be uploaded on a secure website, and Sandy will receive the web link to all submitted videos, allowing him to enjoy the well wishes of his Valencia College family.
