Jazz music during the holiday season is like a cup of hot cocoa with a little kick! For this production, the Valencia Jazz Band will “swing in” the holidays playing a lineup of tunes sure to make you smile and embrace the festive mood.

If you like the sounds of the Big Band era, you will be at home with the artistry of the Valencia College Jazz Ensemble performing Big Band and Jazz Band tunes, which promise to stir the soul! These young players capture the jazz style and present it with flair. Do not be surprised if a holiday tune sneaks into the program. Bring your thermos and Christmas cookies for this outdoor event!

Fall Opera Theatre Workshop

The Opera Theater Workshop will present its first ever complete musical theatre show with the production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” music and lyrics by William Finn, book by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman.
