The Valencia Staff Association (VSA), which is replacing the former Professional Staff and Career Staff Associations, invites you to join the VSA leadership.
On Thursday, January 4, 2018, current leadership will send an email soliciting nominations for new collegewide and campus representation within the VSA.
If you are interested, you will be required to submit a nomination form along with answers to these three questions:
- Why are you interested in representing your colleagues on the Valencia Staff Association Collegewide or Campus Leadership Team?
- Describe how you might contribute to conversations regarding college governance, professional milestones and achievement, professional advancement and growth, and encouraging a culture of collaboration, service, scholarship and outreach.
- This position requires a one-year time commitment, annual events, and monthly meetings for campus leadership or quarterly meetings for collegewide leadership. Describe a situation in which you were required to exercise similar dedication and reliability. (Please note that supervisor support is encouraged.)
Nomination forms, along with answers, should be submitted by email to Valencia Staff Association Launch Board President Donna J. Kosloski at email@example.com no later than Thursday, January 18, 2018.
