Orlando Business Journal Highlights Valencia

Valencia made headlines twice in the Friday, May 5, 2017, issue of the Orlando Business Journal.

The cover story, “10 People You Should Know at UCF Downtown, Creative Village,” introduces the community leaders who are connected with the new University of Central Florida-Valencia Downtown Campus, including our own Falecia Williams, president, West and Downtown Campuses. To read about Falecia’s role, as well as the other major players in the project, click here.

Valencia College President Sandy Shugart was also interviewed in this issue for his recent US. Higher Education 2017 McGraw Prize. The interview asks Sandy some fun questions, like if he could trade places with one person for a day who would it be, his favorite vacation spot and Central Florida restaurant, as well as a few more serious questions. Find out these answers and more in the Orlando Business Journal.
