A Message from Kathleen Plinske, President, Osceola and Lake Nona Campuses
The Osceola Campus Faculty Assembly is currently accepting nominations for a vice president for the 2016 to 2017 term; whoever serves as vice president will serve as the Osceola Faculty Assembly president from 2017 to 2018.
The vice president serves as a representative for the Osceola Faculty Assembly on the Faculty Council — it’s an opportunity to be involved in the governance of the College, getting to offer input into work groups, committees and College policy decisions. You would serve as a general advocate for all faculty.
As Osceola Faculty Assembly president in 2017-2018, you would serve as our main faculty representative, both on campus and to the entire College. It’s a fantastic position — you get to be involved in faculty governance for two years, and you get to have a voice in the general policies and procedures of the College. If you would like to nominate a candidate, or you would like to volunteer for the role, please email our current Osceola Faculty Assembly President and Professor of English Michael Robbins at firstname.lastname@example.org.
