On Friday, December 17, 2021, the majority of the Osceola Campus will be closed to most students, faculty and staff, so that a Valencia Interoperable Partners in Emergency Response (VIPER) exercise can occur. Participants include the Kissimmee Police Department, the St. Cloud Police Department and the Kissimmee Fire Department and EMS.
The VIPER exercise is planned to begin at 9 a.m., with setup and staging beginning at 6 a.m. The exercise should conclude by 12 p.m. The South Denn John access road and the 192 entrance will be open to provide access to the CIT and CAT buildings, because they will not be included in the exercise and will remain open.
Please remain off campus if your participation is not requested. Encourage your students to use the Library or Testing Center on another campus, or access online student services, if they need to complete work that day.
If you have any questions, contact Osceola Campus’ Security office at 407-582-4000.
