Begin the journey of becoming an equity-minded practitioner by registering for INDV3265: Preparing to be an Equity-minded Practitioner. As you examine and reflect on your professional and personal experiences using a lens of equity, you will create an Equity-minded Practitioner Plan that includes exploring your personal definition of equity, identifying inequities in your teaching practices and crafting a plan of action demonstrating your commitment to becoming an equity-minded practitioner. The next session of this 16 PD hour mixed-mode course starts Monday, September 20, 2021. Get started with your Active Learning Certificate with the LCTS3290: Foundations of Active Learning course. Throughout the course, participants will be introduced to the theories and principles of Active Learning, as well as gain an introduction to the Capstone portfolio assessment at the end of the certification process. Specific emphasis will be placed on integrating and sharing active learning strategies in the classroom. The next session of this 10 PD hour mixed-mode course starts Thursday, September 23, 2021.
