Our Counselors Are Ready to Serve

A Message from Kathleen Plinske, President, Osceola, Lake Nona, and Poinciana Campuses

As a new school year begins, please remember that Valencia College’s counselors provide emotional and academic support services to empower students to succeed at the College. Our region’s counselors do this via short-term, solution-focused personal, academic and career counseling; faculty consultation; crisis intervention; case management; and community referrals. In addition, counselors facilitate curriculum-based experiences to bring awareness and understanding to commonly experienced emotional and educational student challenges.
