PJI Newsletter Now Available

As the Peace and Justice Institute nears its 10th anniversary, the organization has released its first edition of the eighth volume of the PJI Newsletter, which celebrates the institute’s commitment to promoting peace.

Inside this issue, you’ll find coverage of this year’s PJI events, which have sparked crucial conversations, promoted cultural understanding and embraced inclusion and diversity. You’ll also find news of peace that has been achieved locally, nationally and internationally — like stories of refugees finding homes and feats in sustainability — as well as opportunities for you to make a difference through PJI.

Finally, you’ll find a heartfelt farewell letter from Krystal Pherai, who has humbly served PJI as a staff assistant and the chief editor of the newsletter. But don’t worry; Krystal isn’t going far. She’s continuing her service at Valencia in the East Campus Student Services department.
