A Message from Kathleen Plinske, President, Osceola, Lake Nona and Poinciana Campuses

If you haven’t seen the latest edition of Vitae, check out this great article about Susan Ingersoll, professor, biotechnology, at the Lake Nona Campus.

It’s exciting to note that the first students to graduate with an A.S. degree in Biotechnology Laboratory Sciences in Valencia College’s 50-year history will likely do so in summer 2017. Designed to prepare students for a variety of careers in biotechnology and the life sciences, the degree program is offered in its entirety at the Lake Nona Campus to maximize opportunities for collaboration with nearby Medical City.
