Participate in the Search for Valencia’s Next Vice President, Student Affairs


This fall, Valencia hopes to welcome a new vice president of student affairs who will provide leadership to the teams responsible for student services, admissions and records, financial aid and college transitions to ensure all processes, systems and support is on-hand for students to enroll and register.

On Monday, June 20, and Tuesday, June 21, 2016, you are invited to meet the candidates for the position of vice president, student affairs and participate in open forums at West Campus in the Special Events Center.

Two candidates will share their experience and vision for student affairs at Valencia, and faculty, staff and students will have the opportunity to engage the finalists, ask questions and provide feedback about the candidates to the search committee. In addition, a special forum for students will be held afterward to capture the student voice, perspective and input.

You are encouraged to attend the forums in person to welcome and interact with each candidate. However, if you are not able to attend in person, you can do so virtually by participating in the live stream.

Valencia began the search for the vice president of student affairs in February of this year. Joyce Romano, who is currently serving in the position, will transition to her new role as vice president, educational partnerships after the position is filled.
