You are invited to attend an Association of Valencia Women presentation on Path to Leadership, featuring Edna Jones Miller, dean of students, Downtown Campus, on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, as Edna details her pathway to leadership. She is an accomplished wife, mother and higher education professional.
Edna completed high school early after a three-year stint and then later graduated from the University of South Florida (USF) with the prominent distinction of “Most Outstanding Senior” out of more than 5,000 graduates of her class. She also earned both a Master of Science in Management: Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction: Higher Education Administration at USF.
In her career, she has passionately served as a higher education professional in both teaching and administrative roles. Through this work, she is in high pursuit to help students discover their individualized paths to personal success. She has dedicated her professional life’s work to the holistic development of students, and she is committed to offering support, advocacy and mentorship to positively influence the lives of others.
