Save the Date: Path to Leadership with Joyce Romano

You are invited to attend an Association of Valencia Women presentation on Path to Leadership, featuring Joyce Romano, vice president, educational partnerships, on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, as Joyce details her pathway to leadership.

In her 27 years at Valencia, Joyce has worked to improve the educational pathway for students from K-12 through community college and successful university transfer to bachelor’s completion.

Over the years, her work at Valencia focused on the design and implementation of LifeMap, our developmental advising model and system; of Atlas, our learning community portal; and of the re-design of student services, which integrates student learning of educational processes to support their success. She has experience with diverse student populations and has designed and implemented programs for students from middle school through college graduation.

Joyce has a B.A. in Psychology from State University of New York-College at Cortland, an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Central Washington University, and an Ed.D. in Higher Education from the University of Kansas.
