School of Public Safety Offers Women’s Self-defense Class

A Message from Mike Favorit, Managing Director, Safety and Security

In light of the tragic Miya Marcano case and to stress the importance of personal safety, our Security team has received numerous calls requesting a women’s self-defense training. As a result, our School of Public Safety team will be host a free Women’s Self-defense class that is open to all Valencia College employees, students and their family members, ages 13 and older.

Date: Wednesday, October 27, 2021
Time: 7 – 9 p.m.
Location: School of Public Safety, Room 164 (Main Gym)
