Soothing Stress — Everyday Mindfulness

As we close out Mental Health Awareness Month, Nurse Jessica, Valencia College’s UnitedHealthcare nurse liaison, has created a short video presentation about mindfulness just for Valencia employees. What exactly is mindfulness? It’s the ability to be fully present and aware of where we are and what we are doing.

Check out her presentation below to learn about the benefits of mindfulness and how to incorporate it into your everyday life. Then end the presentation with a quick, relaxing, mindfulness meditation that you can do at your desk.
