Supervisor Summit Recap: Supervisors Learn About Selection and Hiring, Valencia’s Performance Review Process and MoreShare
On Friday, March 14, 2014, supervisors gathered for the Supervisor Summit on East Campus. This special event, held three times per year, is designed to provide an opportunity for supervisors to convene with their colleagues to learn, explore and discuss the latest tools and resources as they plan for their own and their teams’ development.
Attendees received in-depth updates, information and resources including:
• Updates on the selection and hiring process, along with an overview of new training provided via The Valencia EDGE and additional resources to support supervisors during the recruitment, selection and hiring of new employees.
• Overview from Employee Development and HRIS team about Valencia’s performance review process — The Check In.
• Valencia policy updates and information from the Office of the General Counsel.
