Join your colleagues and expand your knowledge and integration of LifeMap and College Success Skills to enhance your student learning.

In the LifeMap Certificate Program you will be invited to transform your teaching and design learning opportunities that promote student life skills development while enriching discipline learning.

You can:                                                                                                                          faculty-insight-news-id

  • facilitate student reflection activities
  • increase student knowledge and appreciation of self and others
  • help students make informed decisions
  • assist students in formulating educational, career and life plans

As a result, your students will be able to apply life skills learned to future courses and guide their planning in academic, personal and professional endeavors.

To attain the LifeMap certification, a total of 38 Professional Development (PD) hours of foundational courses must be completed in a cohort with colleagues and at least 4 PD hours of elective courses.

“Obtaining the LifeMap Certificate not only provided me with invaluable collaboration with peers, but I also created, applied and assessed new ideas and techniques that helped my students succeed.”
— Amy Pogue, SLS & Human Resources, West Campus
