Josh Murdock Test-Drives Google Glass

Josh Murdock, instructional designer with OIT, was recently interviewed by Tom Johnson with Fox 35 News for a segment about Google’s latest, wearable technology – Google Glass.
Through a partnership with TriNet of Central Florida, Josh was given the opportunity to be one of only 8,000 Google Glass Explorers in the United States. The partnership has allowed Josh to share his Glass experience with both tech and education communities.
Josh flew to New York City in July to pick up his Google Glasses. There, he met with a Google representative and was able to customize his Glasses with color and fit. During his interview, Josh offered his insight about the features of the latest device, and he explained some of the potential benefits that Google Glass could provide for users, such as first responders.
