The Campus Store is seeking Valencia College employees to help with our Curbside Pickup program on West Campus through Friday, January 22, 2021, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Volunteers will help process orders and deliver books and materials to students in their cars in our designated pick-up location.
Since the start of this program on Sunday, December 6, 2020, more than 3,000 students have selected Curbside Pickup for their course materials, and the pickup time has averaged approximately 4 minutes.
Full-time employees, some part-time employees, and, in some limited situations, work-study students are eligible to volunteer. Participants will work at their current rate of pay.
If you are interested in volunteering to help the Campus Store, contact Camille Hernandez, talent sharing coordinator and assistant director, conferencing and college events at chernandez165@valenciacollege.edu or 407-299-5000, extension 5786.
