The John & Suanne Roueche Excellence Awards – Nominate a Colleague Today!
ShareThe League for Innovation has established a new recognition opportunity this year, the John & Suanne Roueche Excellence Awards. These awards are open to League Alliance member institutions to celebrate outstanding contributions in improving student learning and leadership by community college faculty and staff. Recipients will be recognized in a series of activities and promotions, and honored at special events during the League’s Innovations conference on March 10-13, 2013 in Dallas, Texas.
You’re invited to nominate colleagues who exemplify exceptional teaching and leadership for this excellence award. Each campus president has established the following criteria for nominations:
East/Winter Park Campus Criteria
Recipients may have demonstrated meritorious learning leadership in many ways including,
- Contributes to the advancement of innovation and creativity on East and Winter Park Campuses.
- Provides leadership through participation in divisional, campus, and college-wide initiatives.
- Exhibits expertise/scholarship in his/her specific field/discipline and work.
- Demonstrates outstanding contributions to campus and college learning communities.
West Campus Criteria
Recipients may have demonstrated meritorious learning leadership in many ways including,
- Contributes to the advancement of innovation and excellence in learning on the West Campus.
- Provides outstanding demonstration of the scholarship of teaching and learning to support student success.
- Demonstrates leadership in campus, division, or inter-disciplinary learning initiatives.
- Exhibits substantial involvement in developing learning support services and pathways for students.
Osceola/Lake Nona Campus Criteria
Recipients may have demonstrated meritorious learning leadership in many ways including,
- Exhibit spirit of innovation that goes “above and beyond” what’s expected.
- Recognizes that our students are amazing and demonstrates a commitment to helping them reach their full potential.
- Makes a significant contribution to creating the right conditions to support learning on campus.
