The New Valencia EDGE: Evaluating Your Performance and Development

In the new Valencia EDGE, you can keep track of your professional goals, complete your yearly evaluation conversations, review the progress you’ve achieved and make updates to the status of your goals in the My Performance channel. Supervisors may also evaluate their team’s performance in this channel.

All full-time staff members and faculty utilize the Valencia EDGE for their performance review process. Full-time staff members must complete The Check-In; tenured faculty, the Faculty Evaluation; and tenure-track faculty members, the Performance Benchmark. Although the three employee groups have different evaluations, they access their performance reviews the same way in the Valencia EDGE.

In this channel, you’ll also find employee, educator and supervisor competencies, evaluation work flows and resources to help with evaluations such as an online course on providing constructive feedback, Check-In training and more.

To access the My Performance channel in the Valencia EDGE:

• Log in to Atlas.
• Click on the Employees tab.
• Click on the Access Valencia EDGE graphic in the My Development Channel. A new window will open.
• The My Performance channel will be in the last line of buttons.
