Top 10 Reasons to See Bob Gessner Dance for Femmes de Coeur

bob-gessner-femmes-de-coeur-ad-groveValencia’s very own Bob Gessner, West Campus dean of science, biology professor and notorious Top 10 list maker, will represent the college in a dance competition hosted by Femmes de Coeur to raise scholarship funds for nursing students. Here are the top 10 reasons to come cheer for Bob in support of Valencia’s nursing students:

10. You get to see Bob Gessner dance!

9. If Bob is as good at taking the lead on the dance floor as he was at leading the Faculty Association, we’re all in for a good show.

8. Find out about his alter ego – Sponge Bob Square Dance.

7.  C’mon, who doesn’t want to spend Sunday night hanging out with their co-workers?

6.  Not only has Bob donated his time to this event, he’s donated himself to science as part of a biological experiment to grow two left feet.

5. You can take bets on whether Bob is using actual dance moves or just squirming from the thought of all the germs in his rented tux.

4.  Ticket: $75. Dinner: $0. Watching Bob Gessner dance: Priceless.

3.  Don’t worry about missing Sunday night’s episode of “The Walking Dead.” This is basically the same thing, only the zombies are better dressed.

2. You can enjoy the show knowing Bob’s health isn’t at risk. Nursing students have promised to resuscitate him right after his performance.

1. Help raise money for Valencia’s nursing students!

This event takes place on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. at The Ballroom at Church Street. For tickets, call 407-620-3987 or visit
