Traditional Commencement Ceremonies Return This May

After a two-year pause on our in-person commencement ceremonies, we are excited to announce that we will return to our traditional ceremonies this coming May. In addition, due to the popularity of the on-campus Grad Finale events, we will add these to our graduation celebrations. Each of these events gives us an opportunity to recognize the hard work and resiliency of our students and provides them with important ways to mark this special occasion with their families.
Commencement Ceremony
Valencia College is hosting the 53rd Annual Commencement Ceremonies on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at the Addition Financial Arena at the University of Central Florida Orlando Campus (12777 Gemini Blvd North, Orlando).
The two confirmed ceremonies will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. A larger than normal turnout out is expected as 2020 and 2021 graduates are invited to join us for the in-person ceremony.
More information will be shared with the participating groups over the next few weeks.
Grad Finale
Valencia College’s Grad Finale events will take place on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 2 – 7 p.m., and on Saturday, April 23, 2022, between 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on East, Osceola and West Campuses.
We will need volunteers for all three locations, so if you are interested in helping our graduates celebrate, links to sign up will be shared next week in The Juice and The Grove.
As we get closer to the event, volunteers will receive additional information from their designated campus team.
