Training Now Available for New Website Content Management System

While we did just say goodbye to the year 2017, we can also say our final farewell to our old Content Management System (CMS), Contribute.

Last year, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) announced a new, exciting Valencia website that will feature a modern design that is visually appealing and mobile friendly. While the finishing touches are being placed on the new website, OIT is introducing our new CMS, OUCampus.

If you are an existing content editor (those employees who previously had Contribute access), please complete a short online training in the Valencia EDGE.

To access the training, follow these steps:

1. Complete your CMS Content Editor Training Basic User online class in Valencia EDGE.

  • Once you click the above link and log into Atlas, you will be taken to the page in the Valencia EDGE.
  • Click Request to enroll in the course, then click “Launch” on your Transcript page to complete the course.

2. Web Services will assign your access in OUCampus. Please allow one business day for Web Services to set up your account access.

3. Log in, using your Atlas username and password, and review/edit your content in preview.valenciacollege.edu.

  • If you need help finding where your content is in the new structure, please refer to the Sitemap, which maps sites on the current website to sites on preview.

4. Use the “Request Help” Gadget in OUCampus to get help with a specific page.

Please note that all content editors have until Monday, March 19, 2018, to review and edit your pages before the website goes live.

If you have any questions, please email Web Services at webservices@valenciacollege.edu or call the OIT Help desk at 407-299-5000, extension 5555.
