Updated Records Retention Schedule Now Available in Atlas

The Florida Bureau of Records Management recently released a revised edition of the General Records Schedule GS5 for Public Universities and Colleges.

This schedule covers records commonly created and/or maintained by public universities and colleges, and includes the minimum retention periods for records ranging from parking tickets and institutional research reports, to class rolls and instructor evaluations.

Please review the revised records schedule, found in Atlas on the “Finance” tab, in the Finance User Resources channel, or on the “Budget” tab, in the Budget User Resources channel.

For questions about the updated records retention schedule, please contact Chris Kretchik, director of financial systems/reports, at ckretchik@valenciacollege.edu or at extension 3304.
