A Message from Terri Graham, Interim President, West and Downtown Campuses
The College is aware that on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, the University of Central Florida (UCF) will begin operating more aligned with the way it did before the pandemic by expanding in-person activities. Valencia College will continue its Phase 3 operations through our Summer 2021 term.
During Phase 3 operations, all employees, students and vendors on campus are required to wear face masks that cover the mouth and nose while indoors. Masks are also required outdoors if physical distancing is not possible. Employees working on campus are only permitted to remove their masks if working in an office alone, or while working outdoors and physically distanced. If an individual comes on site for work or classes and does not have a face mask, the College will provide one. Everyone should feel empowered to require masks be worn while in their presence.
Masks are required in University of Central Florida facilities located on Valencia College campuses, as well as in all Valencia College courses on the Downtown Campus. Valencia’s Downtown Campus classrooms have masks available for Valencia or UCF students who may not have one.
Valencia College will move to Phase 4 operations on Sunday, August 1, 2021.
