Valencia College-Take Stock in Children Now Called Valencia College Horizon Scholars Program

Reflecting the program’s vision to empower Orange County students to dream beyond the horizon, Valencia College-Take Stock in Children has changed its name to the Valencia College Horizon Scholars Program.

Still associated with the parent Take Stock in Children organization, the name change more clearly associates the program with Valencia, while continuing to represent the program’s mission to uplift local students.

There is no change to the program, which will continue to empower enrolled students through mentorship, scholarship and community service.
