Thanksgiving is called “Thanksgiving” for a reason; it’s a time to reflect and acknowledge all the good that we have in our lives.
Many of us have experienced challenges and heartache during the last couple of years, and this is a good time to embrace a grateful attitude that can help us heal. Gratitude has the power to bring hope and can help us cope with hard times. Research has shown that grateful people experience more positive emotions, are more satisfied with life, and experience fewer negative emotions, including depression and anxiety.
This Thanksgiving break, let’s take the time to pause, breathe, slow down and be more mindful. Let’s reflect and be grateful not only about the past but also about the present and the future.
