Welcome to Phase 4

A Message From Kathleen Plinske, Valencia College President

Yesterday marked our official transition to Phase 4 operations of our Roadmap for Reopening plans. During this phase, all Valencia College campuses and locations are fully open and operational.

Over the past year and a half, we’ve made great strides to respond to the pandemic, transitioning the majority of our classes and services online. For some of you, this may be your first time returning to work onsite since our College first closed in March 2020. For others, you never stopped working on campus to maintain our facilities and serve students.

Whether you’ve been onsite, working remotely, or both, I’d like to welcome you to this new phase of our Roadmap for Reopening as we prepare to welcome more of our students on campus for the Fall 2021 term.

I encourage you to continue to check the Roadmap for Reopening website, stay tuned to your email, and refer to The Grove to reference up-to-date information and protocols for Phase 4.

If you have questions related to Phase 4 operations, feel free to reach out to our Organizational Development and Human Resources team at HR4U@valenciacollege.edu or call the HR4U helpline at 407-299-5000, extension HR4U (4748).

Thank you, again, for your continued diligence as we enter this next phase together. As we’ve done since the very start of the pandemic, we will continue to prioritize health, safety, and the continuity of our students’ learning.

I look forward to seeing you soon.
