West Campus Division of Business and Hospitality Honors 10 Graduating Students

A Message from Falecia Williams, President, West and Downtown Campuses

On Tuesday, April 11, 2017, 10 students were recognized in front of their families for outstanding achievement in their respective areas of study at our first Distinguished Graduating Student Awards Luncheon. These students were selected by the faculty for their leadership, academic performance and demonstrated potential.

Dean Caravelis, a 1999 Valencia alumnus and founder of Blezoo, an Orlando-based marketing company, served as the event’s keynote speaker and shared an inspirational message and stories about his journey.

This event successfully connected the students, faculty and career program advisors in a way that empowered students to envision career pathways, and students left inspired and excited for their next steps.

I look forward to seeing where their careers take them.
