Hate to see you go. But, who I am ? For God has great plans for you Dr. Williams and with your servants heart you continue to take up the Basin and Towel to wash and wipe the feet of others wherever you are planted. I knew you from the first day you started at Valencia doing America Reads Program and I am happy for you. Your mom is looking down from heaven my friend.

It hurts to see you go… even as I am overjoyed that you are recognized, once more, for the intelligence, grace and foresight you so naturally exhibit. The first time a met you was in the middle of your back to back A.S. program annual reviews—Graphics just one of your visitors that day. I watched as you read, examined data, asked insightful questions, tried to take lunch, greeted each individual as they entered and prepared for the meeting ahead—all at the same time. I thought, whoa this woman is a force.

I have trusted in your judgement and council all the days we have worked together and have had to fight the urge to overshare and overburden you also. You are absolutely one of the reasons I work at Valencia College. I am so proud to have worked for you at west campus and will always hold you in high esteem. I really meant it when I volunteered to work on your Presidential campaign. Wishing you all the very best, and missing your guidance and leadership already.
