Campus Construction: Get the 411

An Update on Valencia’s Downtown Campus

Construction is well underway on Valencia’s Downtown Campus, in partnership with the University of Central Florida (UCF), on both the Academic Commons building as well as a 15-story student housing building that will also include educational and student services space.

Scheduled to open in 2019, this transformational project, which kick-starts Orlando’s $1 billion public-private Creative Village, will increase access for students, provide pathways into high-demand career fields, foster collaboration with our neighbors in meaningful ways and improve countless lives through education. It will bring about 7,700 Valencia and UCF students to study and work just west of Interstate 4, as the intellectual anchor of Creative Village.

The student housing project, by developer Craig Ustler, will include 600 student-housing beds and 105,000 square feet of educational space that will be leased to Valencia and UCF. Check out the latest renderings of the student house project.
